Fumbling around in the dark
Posted by maddie on 08 Mar 2015 / 0 Comment

I am always keen for a late night shoot opportunity and living where I do, there is perfect opportunity visiting Rame Head on the Rame Peninsula. Rame Head is exposed to the sea and the weather which can hit harshly. Head light on and flask at hand, it’s a short walk to a few gorsy spots where I can hide from the elements and capture the chapel or Whitsand Bay. Away from the illuminations of the villages close by and given the right astro conditions, I have been lucky enough to photograph the Milky Way as an amazing back drop to the historic stone built chapel. Trekking up and into the Chapel itself is really quite freaky, you never know what you might find hiding within, a pony, a deer, various wildlife,  or even a couple enjoying a romantic gaze out to sea?!!
